The City sign code regulates all placement of signs within the City and its ETJ (Extra Territorial
Jurisdictions). Basically, there are two uses:
- On-premises signs
- Off-premises signs (billboards)
On-premises regulations were added in December 1994. Certain height, size, spacing and setbacks of signs are according to
street classifications.
New off-premise or billboards have been prohibited since 1986.
