Purpose, Adoption,
Administration,
and the Development Process
The City of San Antonio is pleased to
announce that
Mr. Mark White J.D., A.I.C.P., will
lead the City's first-ever Unified
Development Code Course. Mr. White, who
helped author the 2001 UDC, brings a
wealth of planning experience and
knowledge to this two-day training
session.
The seminar
will be held in the Cliff Morton
Development and Business Services
Center, Training Rooms A & B,
1901 S. Alamo, San Antonio TX,
78204, and will cover:

The
course schedule will be:

Registration
begins September 1, 2009. Registration
fees are $175 per person and include a
workbook, mid-morning and mid-afternoon
refreshments. The seminar will be worth
up to 12 hours of CE credit for AIA/PEPP
and AICP members for full attendance.
The registration deadline is September
25, 2009 and the class is limited to the
first 65 registrants. We will accept
registrations on the first day of the
event on a space-available basis.
Check-in will begin at 8:00 am; the
seminar will begin at 8:30 am and end at
approximately 4:00 pm each day.
Those
registering for the UDC session are also
invited back on Wednesday, September 30
for a free, half-day supplemental
training session focusing on Rough
Proportionality. This session will be
hosted by
Mr. Aaron W. Nathan , P.E., A.I.C.P.,
of Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. This
session will also be held in Training
Rooms A & B in the Cliff Morton
Development and Business Services
Center. The seminar starts at 8:30 am
and will end at approximately 12:00 pm.
