Jim Mery - Interim Director
Two programs exist for vendor permits, one that applies to the six designated
public stationary sites another for privately-controlled property on the River
Walk and at street level. Each program has separate policies, procedures and
application processes.
Vendors who are interested in selling novelty items on the River Walk at one of
the six stationary sites will have the opportunity to participate in a lottery
process annually. Completed applications and other requirements are necessary
for vendors to be included in the annual lottery for the stationary designated
permits. The lottery process for 2012 permits has been completed. If you are
interested in participating in the 2013 lottery, please scroll to the bottom of
this page.
Vendors who would like to operate on privately-controlled property must also
complete an application, which can be found by scrolling to the bottom of the
page. In addition, they must
obtain permission from the business operator and/or property owner and fulfill
other requirements as specified by the program.
