Purpose

Provide internet browser access for employees to their COSA email accounts.

Email Services provide customers with efficient access to the following while off site:

  • COSA Email
  • Calendar
  • Email Attachments
  • Email Contacts

Who has Access:

If you are a city Employee with a City email account you should be able to use your current Window’s account to log into Email Services. If you don’t have a City email account, but need one, please contact your supervisor.

Ready to access Employee Email

Purpose

ESS is an online Portal that will enable COSA employees to access their important information through an easy-to-use web site.

Use the ESS Portal to:

  • Review pay stubs: pay stubs dating back to October 2004 are at your fingertips.
  • Check Leave Balances
  • Do Time Entry (note: applies only to employee who enter their own exception leave -- "self time employees")
  • Find colleagues throughout the City using the Employee Directory (Who’s Who)
  • Benefits Enrollment – OPEN October 17th through November 16th (User Guide)

Note: If Using IE8/9 Need to enable Compatibility View -- Please Read Tutorial section. Avoid using the browser back button.

Who has Access:

By October 1, 2011 all City employees will have access to the ESS Portal. If you already have a Windows account; you should be able to use your current Window’s account to log into ESS.

Purpose

Hansen Citrix provides COSA remote access for employees to their COSA Hansen application.

Hansen Citrix Services provides COSA customers with efficient access to Hansen application while off-site or on-site.

Who has Access:

If you are a city Employee who currently uses Citrix (GOCOSA) to access any approved work applications and have a City account you should be able to use your current Window’s account to log into Citrix Services both at work and remotely. If you don’t have a City account, but need one, please contact your supervisor.

Ready to Access Citrix

Purpose

Self-Service Password Management allows COSA employees to reset their own Windows passwords. If you get locked out of your Windows account for any reason or need to reset your password, Self-Service Password Management allows you to reset your Windows password.

Who has Access:

All COSA employees who have a Windows account can use the Password Manager Portal to reset their passwords.

Purpose

Cisco WebEx Meetings provides you with tools that help you collaborate with your contacts and colleagues efficiently. Here are highlights of what you can do:

  • Select Meet Now to start an instant meeting.
  • Select Schedule to schedule a meeting.
  • Join a meeting from your invitation email message or from the Meetings page on your WebEx site.
  • Select Recordings to find a meeting recording.
  • Use the WebEx Productivity Tools, which lets you schedule, start, and join meetings from Microsoft Outlook and WebEx Assistant, without the need to use your WebEx site.

Who has Access:

If you are a city Employee, you should be able to use your current Window’s account to log into Cisco WebEx both at work and remotely. If you don’t have a City account, but need one, please contact your supervisor.

Purpose

Workspace provides COSA remote access for employees to their COSA applications and Virtual Desktops. Workspace is the replacement of Citrix.

Approved applications are efficiently accessible to COSA employees while off-site or on-site.

Who has Access:

If you are a city Employee who currently uses Citrix (GOCOSA) to access any approved work applications and have a City account you should be able to use your current Window’s account to log into Workspace both at work and remotely. If you don’t have a City account, but need one, please contact your supervisor.

Horizon Client Installation Steps:

Use of Workspace will require VMware Horizon Client to be downloaded to the workstation you are using.
