Brooks City-Base, a former military installation in San Antonio, Texas is one of the most innovative economic development projects in the United States. Today, Brooks City-Base stands as San Antonio's premier center for bioscience, biomedical, academic, environmental, and technical research.

Community Support for the Military

The Military Transformation Task Force (MTTF) is a City of San Antonio, Bexar County, and Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce initiative to share information, assist the military in implementing BRAC, address any impacts on the community and leverage BRAC to strengthen our economy and revitalize our neighborhoods. 

DTI was designed to serve as a proactive intermediary with active military installations for leveraging their military assets.

The TMPC is to offer assistance to defense communities, military installations and defense related businesses.

Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit that provides emergency support and morale to our military troops, the families they leave behind during deployment, and the wounded warriors when they return home.

The voice for communities and states with a significant military presence.
