for Westside organizations to promote events,
activities, workshops, classes, etc. If you are
interested in posting on the calendar, please contact
Emma Hersh. Information
needed for calendar entries include date, time,
location, point of contact, fee, and a brief
description.

The WDC, Broadway National
Bank (BNB), and Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU)
co-sponsored a
reception for Westside small business owners
on Wednesday, November 5. The three organizations provided
information about resources for sustaining and growing small
businesses, especially during challenging times.
OLLU also announced the first
Westside Small Business Internship Program, made possible
through a grant from the WDC. Interns will be placed at
Westside employers who demonstrate that the intern's
activities will expand the business's capacity so that
additional full- or part-time employees will be hired.
