Robert M. Murdock
Mr. Murdock is a retired Air Force general officer with 32 years of proven success in leading people and managing large complex organizations. Prior to his retirement from the Air Force, he served as the last commander of the Kelly Air Logistics Center and was responsible for the base closure and realignment in July 2001.
Previously, he was the Manager in Charge of the San Antonio Branch Office for Guardsmark LLC where he directs the day-to-day operations of providing security services to clients in San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Mr. Murdock also serves on the Executive Board of Directors for United Way San Antonio, the Board of Directors for US0 San Antonio, and the Board of Directors for Air Force Villages.
Mr. Murdock received his Master's Degree in Personnel Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Davis and Elkins College, West Virginia. Mr. Murdock’s extensive experience in executive leadership and strategic planning makes him a valuable asset to the City.
