The grand opening of the new Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was held on December 3, 2007. The 36,000 square-foot center brings together City of San Antonio and Bexar County emergency management offices. This joint-use facility allows for the seamless integration and operation of City, County, State and Federal emergency management personnel for the purpose of gathering, evaluating and distributing critical information, and implementing responsive actions during an emergency or in the event of a natural or man-made disaster.
