Metro Health continues to work with the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to investigate and monitor the H1N1virus. As national, state, and local health officials learn more about the virus and the illness it produces, recommendations and guidance are being continuously updated. So, it is important that you stay informed. We all must work together to protect our community by doing what we can to prevent and reduce the spread of H1N1. Click here for more information.

READY OR NOT?

The mission of the system is to augment existing public warning systems by allowing City officials to notify citizens via home phone, cell phone, email, fax, or text message. Citizens can register by telephone or online and can select which types of notifications they would like to receive.
