Are you ready for a disaster?  If a disaster or large-scale emergency occurred today would you and your family be prepared? These are just some of the questions our professional staff is willing to address with citizens during public presentations and talks on Emergency Preparedness.

The City of San Antonio Office of Emergency Management (SAOEM) staff has conducted hundreds of presentations for various neighborhood associations and neighborhood alliances, as well as community action groups and City Council Town hall meetings.  We also regularly participate in annual City events such as National Night Out.

Emergency Management and the San Antonio Community
The SAOEM is committed to providing citizens with professional presentations, and routinely facilitates group discussions on various topics associated with Emergency Preparedness. Topics include natural and man-made disasters, emergency management, local threats, and terrorism.  Finally, most talks focus around what everyday citizens can do to prepare for disasters they may face in the community.
