Compliance and Resolution Manager
Resolution and Compliance reviews
citywide policies and procedures, evaluates complex management controls,
identifies control weaknesses and formulates recommendations to improve the
control environment. This section researches, reads, interprets and
analyzes new and required changes to existing generally accepted accounting
principles, generally accepted auditing standards, State and Federal laws,
regulations, policies, procedures, grant audit guides and contract
provisions pertaining to programs or activities to be reviewed and
participates in special investigations, projects and programs requested by
the City Manager’s Office and/or Department Directors. Resolution and
Compliance makes on site inspections of businesses for contractual and
Ordinance compliance, coordinates with Tax Assessor, City Attorney’s Office
and other departments to collect delinquent accounts receivable and
resolve compliance issues.
