Tax Investigation Supervisor

The Investigative Services Section is comprised of the License and Permit Fee Investigation Unit and Customer Service representative. Investigative Services performs office and field audits of all locations within the City of San Antonio to insure that businesses are properly licensed (by the State of Texas) for the manufacture, sale, or consumption of alcoholic beverages, and that all required fees have been paid to the City of San Antonio for these license and permits. Investigative Services also verifies the payment of the occupational tax on all coin-operated amusement machines (including coin-operated billiard tables).

The Investigators provide Taxicab Tax Clearances to for the approval and issuance of Taxicab Permits by Ground Transportation.
