The mission of the San Antonio Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (SACLPPP) is to eliminate childhood lead poisoning in San Antonio through education, case management and related resource referrals.

In an effort to accomplish its mission, the San Antonio Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (SACLPPP) provides various services to the residents of San Antonio and Bexar County. The SACLPPP nurse case manager is available to assist families of children with lead poisoning in reducing elevated blood lead levels through case management, education and resource referrals. Additionally, SACLPPP staff members collect data regarding the occurrence of childhood lead poisoning in the San Antonio area and offer educational and outreach services to the public.

The San Antonio Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (SACLPPP) is grant funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP).
