Public Health Preparedness
Public Health Emergency Preparedness is an all Hazards Preparedness. Public Health Emergency is an immediate threat from a naturally occurring or intentional event that poses a high risk of fatalities or serious long-term disability to large numbers of people. It can also have the potential for major public health impact; and/or where there is substantial risk of public exposure because of a high level of contagion and the particular means of transmission of the infectious agent; might cause public panic and social disruption.
