Mission Statement

To promote health, conduct screenings and promote prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV/AIDS, for residents and visitors of San Antonio and Bexar County.

What services are provided

The STD and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program provides evaluation and diagnosis of STD infections and treatment for most of them. Those infections that require ongoing medical care will need management by a primary care provider. Referrals are provided. Counseling for STD and HIV/AIDS is available as well.

Who is eligible?

Residents of San Antonio and Bexar County and those who have no other means of obtaining STD services.

*30 minutes prior to closure is the latest that a client can be processed to be seen/examined (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30PM and Wednesday 7:30PM).

Closed on weekends and holidays.
