Mission Statement
To promote health, conduct screenings and promote prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV/AIDS, for residents and visitors of San Antonio and Bexar County.
What services are provided
The STD and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program provides evaluation and diagnosis of STD infections and treatment for most of them. Those infections that require ongoing medical care will need management by a primary care provider. Referrals are provided. Counseling for STD and HIV/AIDS is available as well.
Who is eligible?
Residents of San Antonio and Bexar County and those who have no other means of obtaining STD services.
When are services offered?
Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Closed on weekends and holidays.

Counselors are available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you need to speak to a counselor, call (210) 207-2816. Patients can be reassured that all medical records and conversations with STD clinic staff are confidential.
