Code Enforcement

In the spring of 2005, the Historic Preservation Division was granted the services of a Code Compliance Officer to specifically patrol and enforce preservation code violations for historic properties.

Implementation of Application Fees

For the 2005 budget, City Council adopted 2 new fees that affect owners of historic properties:

1) $100 application fee for commercial projects reviewed by the Historic and Design Commission (HDRC).

2) $500 application fee for all projects that require review and commence without prior approval by the HDRC.
