The City of San Antonio

City of San Antonio offers generously subsidized health care benefits
for active and retired employees, City paid disability benefits, City
paid life insurance, as well as automatic participation in a pension
program which is currently matched two to one.
Health care elections should be made carefully, and they may be changed ONLY during the annual Open Enrollment period or within 31 days of a Qualifying Life Event. New for 2012, the City has partnered with UnitedHealthcare to offer the Custom Plan Cost Estimator (username: sanantonio2012 password: benefits) to assist employees and Non-Medicare eligible retirees with estimating their 2012 health care costs.
