The Alamo Community College District (ACCD)
Interlocal Agreement is a fifteen (15) year settlement
with CPS Energy, formerly known as “City Public Service”,
to support workforce development efforts using ACCD educational
resources. According to the ACCD Interlocal Agreement, the City
of San Antonio (City) can request funding for customized training
for City employees and/or entities or programs designated by the
City in continuation of the City’s Economic Development Strategies
and Workforce Development.
The agreement’s education and
training account provides the Human Resources, Community Initiatives,
and Economic Development Departments with customized training.
Training requests should be relevant to employees’ jobs
and improve productivity or accountability. The information request
covers the April 1, 2009 through July 2010 timeframe.
Several courses will be offered to employees during the
upcoming fiscal year. As the courses are offered, the training will
