Reasons to Visit the Health + Wellness Center
The City sends you. The City utilizes the center for procedures such as pre-employment, promotional, and fitness for duty physical examinations, as well as random drug and alcohol screenings.
Workers' Compensation. This location is an option for employees seeking treatment for Workers' Compensation injuries.
You need personal medical care. City employees and their dependents can visit the Health + Wellness Center for personal medical visits ranging from allergies, diabetes, colds, minor injuries, or preventive care.
Electronic Health Record – all your medical records are stored electronically and are available for your viewing
The City of San Antonio has contracted with Gonzaba Medical Group, a third party, to operate the Center and will not have access to any personal or medical information. In addition, there are federal regulations that require all healthcare professionals to keep patient information private.
