Richard has been with the City of San Antonio since November 24, 2008. Currently, he serves as a Community Services Specialist in the Police Department and is assigned to the West Substation. As a Community Services Specialist, Richard assists domestic violence victims with filing criminal charges against their abusers, obtaining social services, and accessing victim resources to insure their ongoing safety.
He has over 25 years in law enforcement and is a graduate of San Antonio College's Law Enforcement Academy. Richard has earned Master Peace Officer, Jailer, and Special Investigators licenses from TCLEOSE and numerous State of Texas certifications. He brings extremely high skills combined with experience and professionalism to benefit the citizens of San Antonio.
Richard shares your concerns about fixing the EPDP or performance evaluation process, employee grievance process, and job reclassification and compensation process. As the representative for the professional employees on the Employee Management Committee, Richard is ready to listen, discuss, and represent your concerns at Employee Management Committee meetings.
