The San Antonio Hurricane Relief Fund, which coordinated contributions locally, has suspended its fundraising efforts. As many as 1,000 contributors raised over $2.4 million. These funds will be allocated for short-term and long-term relief efforts.

Monetary donations also are still being accepted by the following organizations:

American Red Cross
1-800-HELPNOW or www.redcross.org. At this time, the Red Cross prefers to accept only monetary donations.
