FACILITY
History

History

Originally built in 1969, the Pan American Branch was expanded to 9,000 square feet in 1987 with Community Development Block Grant monies. Additional expansion was done in 1999, converting the old meeting room into staff areas and a computer room. A new meeting room, restrooms and an expanded public area were added.

The branch is named for its adjacency to the highway known as the Pan American Expressway (35 South).
