The Central Library has a small collection of books in languages other than English and Spanish. It is shelved on the sixth floor. Languages represented include Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Vietnamese.

The collection includes both fiction and non-fiction, and books can be checked out for a period of three weeks. The call numbers of the books begin with the name of the language (for example, VIETNAMESE 133.33 DOAN; CHINESE FICTION CHEN), so the books are shelved alphabetically by language name first.

To check the library catalog for availability of books in a particular language, you can use the "Call Number Browse" search with the name of the language. Books at Central can be sent to branches for pickup on request.
