WEB SITES

El Mariachi - This site contains hundreds of Real Audio clips, lyrics and good suggestions if you are looking for a Mariachi CD. There is also a forum with posted topics, both helpful and humorous, which are saved and can be read at any time.
El Mariachi Suena - This site is the Electronic version of the Spanish language magazine, El Mariachi Suena. Subscription is free and there are numerous back issues available. There are several mariachi related links.
Fiesta del Mariachi - This site provides many links including one to the International Folk Culture Center in San Antonio. There is a discography compiled by the webpage creator, lyrics to numerous songs, magazine articles, biographies on mariachi stars and also a link to places offering mariachi supplies.
Mariachi USA - This is the home page for the annual Mariachi USA Festival held in Hollywood, CA and now in its tenth year. Here it is possible to purchase tickets, read press releases, view a short performance and hear clips from past festivals. There are also photographs of favorite festival moments and photographs of famous mariachi film legends.
Mariachi Publishing Company - This is an extremely comprehensive source that includes an educational resources page designed for mariachi students and/or researchers. Included also are curriculum resources, a history of the mariachi tradition, and a history of women in mariachi music. There are lots of good photographs and related links.
Puro Mariachi - Well-designed web page with an abundance of links to everything that relates to Mariachi music. There are links to magazine articles, lyrics to songs, places to order CDs, as well as personal mariachero and group home pages. Includes also a list of conferences, concerts and mariachi groups, by state.
