Heroes and Legends

From the powerful and legendary John Henry to the quietly heroic Rosa Parks, African-American culture is filled with inspiring, engaging and often entertaining individuals.

Heroes of Flight

Flying and freedom are threads that run through African-American history. Dreaming about flying—and actually doing it—are the themes of this book and craft program which features the Heroes of Flight.
