Trickster Tales

Sometimes sly and mischievous, sometimes wise and helpful, the trickster is an honored character in folk literature. From the traditional tales of Africa to the Uncle Remus stories of the American South, trickster tales are fun for everyone!

Anansi the Spider

A favorite among the Ashanti people, clever and crafty Anansi the Spider is the star of this program.

Recommended for school-age children; younger children welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Zomo the Rabbit

Not big, not strong, but very resourceful, West Africa's Zomo the Rabbit is the trickster featured in this book and craft program.

Recommended for preschoolers but older children are welcome.
