The Big Read San Antonio
In 2008, the City of San Antonio celebrates To Kill a Mockingbird with The Big Read San Antonio. Everyone is invited to read, discover (or re-discover) and share this story that is so essentially an American tale.
The San Antonio Public Library and the San Antonio Public Library Foundation have put together a series of author appearances, programs and discussion opportunities to appeal to anyone with an interest in To Kill a Mockingbird, or just reading and sharing a great story. Mark your calendar and join us.
The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest. The San Antonio Public Library especially thanks our partners: the San Antonio Public Library Foundation, the San Antonio Express-News, VIA Metropolitan Transit, Texas Public Radio, KLRN-TV, the Institute of Texan Cultures, and Randolph Air Force Base Combat Support and Community Service.
