Central Library is hosting the national traveling photo exhibit “The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,” May 16 – 22.

Huge, full-color portraits of eight CFS patients and two CFS experts include quotes from each about their experiences with this disease. Together, the 10 banners and their first-person accounts tell a compelling story about CFS and how it affects lives. The exhibit also includes important information about symptoms and diagnosis so people who suspect they have the illness, but haven’t yet been diagnosed, can find the information and help they need.

“The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” is part of a national public awareness campaign sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the CFIDS Association of America.
