Asian-American Writers: A Selected List - Librarians at the Harold Washington Library Center at the Chicago Public Library compiled this list of Asian-American novelists, short story writers, poets, and playwrights.

An Asian Ethos - Mickey Pearlman included this list in her book What to Read; The Essential Guide for Reading Group Members and Other Book Lovers, Revised and Updated (1999). It features fiction and nonfiction books by Asian Americans, books by Asians that have been translated into English, and works by non-Asians about the Far and Near East.

Stars of India Booklist - The Overbooked website compiled this list of fiction about India or by Indian writers. Each of the books received at least one starred review (indicating a work of unusual merit) from the following review sources: Booklist (BL), Publisher's Weekly (PW), Kirkus, and Library Journal (LJ).
