  • B.J. Pinchbeck’s Homework Helper - Need some help with your homework and research? Maybe you should visit 12-year old B.J. Pinchbeck and his father. They have found close to 400 sites on the Internet that can help you find the information you need.
  • Fact Monster (from Information Please)- Interested in dates, people, sports, life, the world? Then you need to check this online version of the Information Please Almanac. You'll get the facts behind the latest news stories, who’s celebrating a birthday today, what happened in history today, as well as all kinds of facts in a variety of fields. If you’re looking for something in particular, you can search for a word or phrase, too. There’s even a homework center to help when you’re stuck.
  • KidsClick!: Web Guide and Search Tool for Kids by Librarians - KidsClick! gives access to almost 1,800 web sites of interest to kids that have been picked by a team of librarians. It’s a flexible way of getting fast access to the best that the Internet has to offer kids of all ages. You can look for things by category (for example - Weird & Mysterious) or by specific subject (comic books, dinosaurs, holidays…). Each record contains a description of the site, usually taken directly from the web site itself.
  • Kids Web - Whether you want to learn more about Star Wars, President Clinton, The Wallflowers, or The Dallas Cowboys, Kids Web is a great place to start. You will find information on the arts, sciences, and social studies as well as fun and games.
  • Live Homework Help - Online tutors are available 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. CST daily.
  • Surfing the Net with Kids - Interested in paper airplanes or chocolate factories? Want to know the best sites on endangered animals or Ben Franklin? Check out this archive of Barbara Feldman's nationally syndicated newspaper column. Her weekly column reviews and rates five web sites of interest to kids by topic. This archive of articles can be navigated by the Directory of Topics or in chronological order.
