For each state, you get a listing and links to web sites, when available, to the capital city, state bird, U.S. representatives, state song, population, newspapers, maps, mottos and much, much more. You can even find the Presidential birthplaces and famous people’s graves from each state.
  • Ben's Guide to U. S. Government for Kids - Find out how laws are made, about branches of government, historical documents, the election process and more!
  • The Electronic Embassy - Are you looking for interesting facts and figures for a country report? Do you want to learn more about the countries of the world? The Electronic Embassy provides information on each of the embassies in Washington D.C. with links to related web sites and home pages where available. If an embassy does not have a home page the information you will receive includes the address, telephone and fax numbers.
  • The Perry Castaņeda Map Collection - Brought to you by the University of Texas at Austin, the Perry Castaņeda Map Collection offers over 1,500 maps online covering every area of the world. Maps of special interest include historical U.S. city maps, and maps of U.S. National Parks, National Monuments, and other historic sites.
  • The White House for Kids - Take a tour of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue at the White House for Kids web site. Your hosts for this V.I.P. tour are Spotty, Barney, India and Ophelia, the Bush family pets. This web site provides information on the history and location of our nation's Capitol, biographical information on the President, and a history of White House kids and pets.
  • Zoom School - Would you like to travel to a different country and learn more about its culture and art? Then let Zoom School, an online elementary classroom, lead you to information about a region's geography, history, politics, and wildlife. There are sections about art, animals, folktales, games, and much more.  There’s even information about dinosaurs. Teachers and parents can get help with classroom activities, too.
