South
Texas Herpetology Association
Hot, dry South Texas is home to crawly animals of all kinds - but wait!
Most are beneficial and some are even cute. Did you know snakes and
lizards aren’t slimy? They’re dry and sort of cool. Members of the South
Texas Herpetology Association will visit the library with live snakes,
lizards, and maybe even the odd spider, scorpion or frog, for you to meet
up close and personal. Find out all about how they live and why we should
make sure they stick around. Interested in finding out more? Visit
