Go Wild About Reading at the San Antonio Public Library!

What: Mr. Puppet and friends go wild about reading!
Where: All San Antonio Public Library locations
When: March 9-20 (see schedule of appearances below)

For the month of March, the San Antonio Public Library has teamed up with Mr. Puppet to get kids "Wild About Reading.” Mr. Puppet (real name Bob Abdou, from Austin) has performed to enthusiastic audiences at libraries and schools across the country. Visit one of the San Antonio Public Library’s locations to meet zany characters like the Official Texas State Dinosaur and Stinky, the possum who thinks he is an elephant. Mr. Puppet, along with these friends and others, will have kids laughing out loud as they learn all about the library and the fun of reading. (After the show, don’t forget to pick up a collectible trading card!)

All performances are free and open to the public, but seating is limited and tickets will be required for admission. Free tickets will be available at each library location two weeks prior to the performance date. Mr. Puppet’s appearances were made possible by a donation from the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library.

For more information the public may call 207-2500.
