State Representative Donates Books to Honor Library Supporter

Wednesday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m. Texas State Representative David Leibowitz will dedicate a collection of children’s books that he donated to the Johnston Branch Library in memory of Kathleen Brown. The ceremony will be held at the branch library, 6307 Sun Valley.

Kathleen Brown, a San Antonio realtor, was a long-time supporter of Johnston Branch Library, and instrumental in helping to obtain the land to build the branch. She died earlier this year.

Besides Rep. Leibowitz, former Mayor Lila Cockrell and Assistant Library Director Aubrey George are also expected to attend the ceremony. The public is invited.
