Tickets for the San Antonio Public Library’s popular annual holiday program ˇTamalada! will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9. The free tickets may be picked up at the Central Library 2nd-Floor Reference Desk, 600 Soledad, two per person.
ˇTamalada! is a celebration of the tradition of getting the family together to make tamales for the holidays. The event offers a class in how to make tamales and a preview showing of the bilingual one-act comedy Las Nuevas Tamaleras. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, November 19.
Central Library hours are 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
One hour of free parking is available in the Central Library parking garage with a validated ticket. For more information, the public may call 207-2500.
