What: San Pedro Branch Library closing for renovations

The Board of Trustees of the San Antonio Public Library has announced that the San Pedro Branch Library, 1315 San Pedro Avenue, will close at end of business (9:00 p.m.) on Thursday, November 9, for renovations. The branch is expected to reopen late summer or early fall of 2007.

Improvements will include ADA accessibility upgrades; repairs to the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; and enhancement of interior and exterior finishes. Funding for the $1.025-million project comes from Community Development Block Grants.
Library patrons who have checked out items from the San Pedro Branch Library may return them to any San Antonio Public Library location. The libraries closest to the San Pedro Branch are:
