What: ˇTamalada! Tickets Available
Where: Central Library, 2nd-Floor Reference Desk, 600 Soledad
When: Regular Library hours, beginning Saturday, November 11

Tickets for the San Antonio Public Library’s popular annual holiday program ˇTamalada! will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11. The free tickets may be picked up at the Central Library 2nd-Floor Reference Desk, 600 Soledad.

ˇTamalada! is a celebration of the tradition of getting the family together to make tamales for the holidays. The event offers a class in how to make tamales and a preview showing of the bilingual one-act comedy Las Nuevas Tamaleras. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, November 18.

Tickets are available while supplies last, first come, first served. Each customer may have two tickets for ¬one of the tamal classes, and two tickets for the play. Customers may pick up tickets for themselves only.

Central Library hours are 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

One hour of free parking is available in the Central Library parking garage with a validated ticket. For more information, the public may call 207-2500.
