What:	Carver Library to Close for Recarpeting

When:	Monday, August 13, 2007

The Board of Trustees of the San Antonio Public Library has announced that the Carver Branch Library, 3350 E. Commerce, will close on Monday, August 13, to install new carpet. The branch is expected to reopen the week of August 20.

The $87,595 project is funded by the 2003 City bond initiative and includes upgrades to recently completed roof repairs.

A San Antonio Public Library card may be used at any San Antonio Public Library location, and library patrons who have checked out items from the Carver Branch Library may return them to any other San Antonio Public Library location. The libraries closest to the Carver Branch are:
