What:	Library Poetry Reading to Feature Celebrity Authors
When:	Saturday, April 5, 2008, 2:00 p.m.
Where:	Central Library Gallery, 1st Floor

A roster of local and national talent is scheduled to appear for poetry readings at Central Library on Saturday, April 5, 2008, in commemoration of National Poetry Month.

Roberto Bonazzi, Karen Kelley, Naomi Shihab Nye, Karen Kelley, John Brantley, Rosemary Catacalos, Jesse Herrera, and Michelle Paulsen will read from the poetry collection native soil: poems from South Texas poets. [sic] The book was published by School by the River Press, a fine arts and limited edition press at the Southwest School of Art & Craft.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event ($40, softbound, casebound $55). No book signing is scheduled, however.
