Computers for the
Public
The San Antonio Public Library offers access to computers and the Internet
for patrons at all
library locations.
Each location provides computers with the following configurations:
Catalog only computers – access to the online catalog and user account
information
Technology center computers – access to the online catalog, user account
information, Internet, Microsoft Office, and databases
Kids Connect computers – access to children’s educational games
Database computers (available at Central Library only) – access to the
online catalog and databases (2nd and 6th floors)
Genealogy computers (available at Central Library only) – access to
genealogy information (Texana, 6th floor)
Trademark/Patent computer (available at Central Library Only) – access to
trademark and patent information (Government Documents, 2nd floor)
At Central Library only:
Computers in the children’s area are restricted for use by children and
their parents or caregivers
Computers in the Teen Services area are restricted for use by young adults
(ages 13-18).
