To preserve San Antonio’s history for future generations, we must save its records. The Texana/Genealogy Department has a climate controlled vault and a dedicated staff to help preserve these important documents.

What are we looking for?
  • Letters and correspondence
  • Journals or diaries
  • Family documents
  • Photographs
  • Postcards
  • Records or ledgers from local businesses
  • Records of clubs and organizations
  • Periodicals
  • Scrapbooks
  • Maps
  • Manuscripts

If you have any of the above, and would be willing to donate them or allow us to copy them, or you have questions or concerns, please contact us.
