To preserve San Antonio’s history for future generations, we must save its records. The Texana/Genealogy Department has a climate controlled vault and a dedicated staff to help preserve these important documents.

What are we looking for?

Letters and correspondence Journals or diaries Family documents Photographs Postcards Records or ledgers from local businesses

Records of clubs and organizations Periodicals Scrapbooks Maps Manuscripts
