Attention Deficit Disorder
C.H.A.D.D  - A very good source of information concerning children with ADD.
One A.D.D. Place  - This site provides articles, a calendar of events, a service directory and links to other pertinent sites.
Outside the Box  - A teacher and mother of a child who has A.D.H.D created this site. It has information and resources for both parents and teachers.
 
Autism
Autism Resources  - This site is an index to a very wide range of information on Autism. Links have been added if they deal with autism regardless of the viewpoint.
 
Blind/Visually Impaired
Blind Links - A very nice directory of links arranged by broad subject categories.
Blindness Resource Center - This site provides quick access to information and links to sites concerning blindness and visual impairments, Braille history, blind/deaf resources and particular eye conditions.
Low Vision Gateway - Information on devices, activities, agencies, books and other material of interest to individuals with low vision.
Lighthouse Vision Resources Online  - This site provides a vast amount of information concerning eye conditions, care, devices etc.
National Federation of the Blind - A wealth of information is presented here about the organization, its members, and its services. There is information here concerning scholarships, employment and legislation.
 
Deafness
Animated American Sign Language Dictionary - This is a fairly small dictionary of American Sign Language.
Deaf Linx - A nice directory of selected sites concerning deafness and deaf culture. Topics covered include; organizations, reference, culture, law, health care and much more.
Deaf Resource Library - A very large listing of sites concerning deaf culture as well as deaf and hard of hearing related topics. Topics covered include; schools and universities, organizations of/for the deaf, linguistics/sociolinguistics of ASL, technological innovations and resources for the hard of hearing and the late deafened.
 
Down Syndrome
Down Syndrome: Health Issues  - You will find brief articles dealing with common problems as well as over 100 links to other sites.
 
Epilepsy
Epilepsy Foundation  - A handy site for finding information and news concerning epilepsy.
 
Learning Disabilities
Dyslexia: the Gift - This site produced by Ron Davis, the author of The Gift of Dyslexia, offers many articles and useful links concerning dyslexia.
Internet Special Education Resources - A national directory of professionals who serve the learning disabled community and information on how to approach and treat these conditions.
LD Online - A wealth of articles on various learning disabilities and resources for receiving help are located here.
LD Resources - A large number of articles and links to other resources are provided at this site.
Schwab Foundation for Learning - Schwab Foundation for Learning offers a wide range of services for parents and educators with information, support and resources to improve the lives of students with learning differences.
 
Mental Retardation
American Association on Mental Retardation - This site contains organizational policy statements as well as abstracts to publications and links to other resources including the Texas affiliate.
The Arc  - This site offers both information concerning mental retardation and related conditions as well as links to other sites.
 
Spinal Cord Injury
Project Action Accessible Traveler’s Database - This site is primarily a large database identifying accessible transit systems in the United States.
Quad Link - After the lengthy listing of individual homepages you will find a very helpful list of resources. Links to products, organizations and research are provided.
Spinal Cord Injury Network - A good directory of resources relating to spinal cord injuries. From the main frames or non-frames pages, click on Site Contents to get to the directory.
