• Ask Jeeves for Kids - Search a database of selected sites; then conducts the search filtered through Search Watch.
• Kids Click - Sites for kids compiled by librarians.
• Lycos Zone - Kid safe.
• Yahooligans - For web surfers ages 7-12.  Sites selected by the Yahoo! Inc. staff.

OPTIONAL FILTERING
These Web sites have specialized directories and search engines that "filter" Internet access.   To take advantage of the filtering, you must use the directories and search engines available on those sites.  If you type a URL in the Netsite or Location box, or search using another Search Engine, you will no longer retrieve only filtered sites.   The Library does not guarantee the effectiveness of filtered search engines and directories.
