PASADENA HEIGHTS

Pasadena Heights is located just north of the heart of downtown and opened May 1999 as the fourth Affordable Showcase. The property was vacant with the exception of an historic home (McIlvaine House). The Showcase opened with 10 model homes constructed by 10 builders. This project was unique in that it was the first project of its kind to incorporate "Visitibility" features. Visitibility features such as levered door handles, no-step entrances, lower light switches, and reinforced tub enclosures provide built-in amenities that allow residents to remain in their homes as they get older as well as accommodate visiting friends and family who are elderly or disabled.
