District 4 to host Energy Conservation Summit
District 4 City Councilwoman Leticia Cantu will host an Energy Conservation Summit on Tuesday, April 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, located at 9883 Marbach Road. The summit is open to all District 4 residents and is free of charge.The event will focus on defining "green jobs", ways to conserve energy, and educating residents of the different programs that are offered to help save money. Each department will provide an overview of their programs, discuss eligibility and provide handouts for each family to take home to share with others.
Free trees, showerheads, CFL bulbs, applications for free water-efficient toilets and much more will be given away.
