Councilwoman Taylor invites community to celebrate grand opening of
Montabella Pointe Apartments Councilwoman Ivy R. Taylor will attend the grand opening of the Montabella Pointe Apartments, 5121 N. Foster Rd., on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 10 a.m. to noon. Created by Housing Community Services, Inc. and the NRP Group LLC, the 144-multi-family unit Montabella Pointe Apartments will give housing preference to United States veterans and will provide affordable housing to persons with disabilities. The City of San Antonio assisted the Montabella Pointe Apartments development with $1.5 million of HOME funds. "The Montabella Pointe Apartments gives hope to those veterans and their families who fought and made sacrifices for our personal freedom," said Councilwoman Taylor. "It is time that they have some place they can call home." The public is encouraged to come participate in the Community Partners Fair, enjoy refreshments and door prizes, tour the model homes and salute our veterans. For more information, call 207-2122. |
