Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos invites public to provide input for improvements at Brooks Park

District 3 Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos invites the community to attend a Public Input Meeting for the Brooks Park Improvement Project on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. The public meeting will take place at the Indian Hills Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 3500 Goliad Rd. Councilwoman Ramos has successfully been able to allocate $315,000 from a TIRZ fund towards future improvements and additional amenities at the park. The Councilwoman saw the need to invite the neighborhood community to provide their feedback on what they would like to see included as part of these new improvements.

Michael Dice, Assistant Parks and Recreation Manager for the City, will provide an overview and lead a discussion on the proposed improvements that look to enhance the quality of life of the surrounding community. Several samples of the potential amenities to be added will be provided. Following the audience's input, the discussion will also include next steps based on the feedback received.
