Release Date: October 19, 2011 Office of District 9 Councilwoman Elisa Chan:207-7325 Councilwoman Chan and SAWS to hold public meeting regarding possible assumption of BexarMet District 9 Councilwoman Elisa Chan and San Antonio Water System (SAWS) representatives will host a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 to present and discuss the potential assumption of BexarMet by SAWS and take input from District 9's BexarMet customers. The meeting will take place at the Canyon Ridge Elementary cafeteria, 20522 Stone Oak Parkway, at 6:30 p.m. "I would really like for District 9's BexarMet customers to come to this meeting to get a good look at what SAWS is proposing should the voters choose to dissolve BexarMet," Councilwoman Chan said.
