-Candidates being considered for CPS Energy Citizens Advisory Committee-
Residents of District 4 are encouraged to get involved in local government. Councilman Rey Saldaña is seeking candidates for the CPS Energy Citizens Advisory Committee.
The primary goal of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is to provide accessibility to CPS Energy and to provide community input for use by the CPS Energy Board of Trustees and the CPS Energy staff. The CAC represents customer groups, identifies their concerns and articulates their issues, ensuring that community concerns are communicated and represented in CPS Energy business operations. CAC members advise CPS Energy about community issues and concerns as to both its electric and gas systems and on aspects of CPS Energy's business to ensure added value to the City of San Antonio and communities served.
