District 3 6th Annual Fall Festival and Halloween Bash
Over 1000 residents expected at this year's event

The District 3 6th Annual Fall Festival and Halloween Bash will be held Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Academy, 1135 Mission Road. The event is being hosted by Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos and is expected to bring over 1000 area residents to enjoy food, games, vendors, and local entertainment.

Over 30 City departments, private and non-profit service providers, and organizations will be available to answer questions and provide information on the services and programs they offer. Organizations represented include CPS Energy, SAWS, VIA, the San Antonio Fire Department, the Department of Community Initiatives and Animal Care Services (ACS). ACS will also be hosting a pet adoption during the event.

The festival will also showcase an exciting line up of entertainment that includes the East Central High School Jazz Band, a children's puppet show provided by The Little People Puppet Co., and a Tae-Kwon-Do demonstration.

The festivities would not be complete without a children's costume parade, a haunted house, and children's hay-ride.

"This is always an exciting and fun filled event for the District 3 residents," states Councilwoman Ramos. "We will be providing free flu shots, a free meal, free trees and we will showcase some of the very talented kids in our community."

A complimentary lunch will also be served while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public. Free public parking will be available behind festival grounds at Mission Concepcion Sports Complex.
